Remote Oxygen Sensor Replacement | 9506
The Nuvair 9506 remote, inline replacement oxygen sensor is for use with the Nuvair Pro O2 Remote - Handheld (SKU 9452) and Nuvair Pro O2 Remote - Panel Mount (SKU 9460) oxygen analyzers. Sensor may be labeled R17S1.
The Nuvair 9506 is a remote, inline replacement electrochemical oxygen sensor for gas analyzers. Choose from two options: Remote Oxygen Sensor without Diverter (SKU 9506) or Remote Oxygen Sensor with Diverter (SKU 9506-D).
Under normal use, oxygen sensors have an expected service life of 36 months. The 9506 replacement sensor fits the following analyzers:
- Nuvair Pro O2 Remote - Handheld (SKU 9452)
- Nuvair Pro O2 Remote - Panel Mount (SKU 9460)
WARNING: Never expose gas sensors to pressure or you may cause damage and/or false readings. Damaged sensors will not provide accurate gas analysis. Most gas analyzers can be used to analyze a regulated gas sample flow, the contents of a gas cylinder, or the flow from a regulator. The flow rate of gas must equal 1-5 L/min. To produce this flow, a Flow Restrictor and Regulator may be required. A faulty Flow Restrictor can lead to a false analyzer reading. Flow Restrictors should be regularly tested with a Flow Meter. Inaccurate gas analysis can lead to serious personal injury or death.

Many Nuvair products are available through third-party resellers, including retail stores, distributors, Amazon.com, and other e-commerce sites. For gas analyzers and replacement sensors purchased from this distribution network, the warranty period begins on the date of manufacture. However, when purchased directly from Nuvair.com, the warranty starts on the purchase date.
Why? Because many gas analyzer sensors contain chemical cells similar to battery cells, which have a limited lifespan. Nuvair takes extra care to ship only recently manufactured sensors and analyzers, ensuring the longest possible lifespan when purchased directly from Nuvair.com.
