Pressure Switches

A pressure switche opens or closes an electrical circuit depending on the switch set point and whether the pressure is rising or falling. Each pressure switch has a pressure range along with a set point. For instance, a pressure switch can have a range of 2400–7500 psi with a set point of 5000 psi. When system pressure (either gas or fluid) increases to 5000 psi, the pressure switch opens or closes a circuit to control connected equipment.
