Automatic Restart
Auto-restart switches (SKU SC000315-630B) are for use with automatic restart compressors. The user dials in the maximum pressure desired. When the compressor reaches this defined pressure, the compressor automatically turns off and remains off until the pressure drops 580 psi (40 bar). At this pressure, the compressor restarts and runs until it reaches the maximum pressure desired and then shuts down. The shutdown/restart process continues until the user stops it.
Non-Automatic Restart
Auto-stop switches (SKU SC000315, SC000315-400, and SC000315-630) are for use with any other compressor that does not automatically restart. The user dials-in the maximum pressure desired. When the compressor reaches this defined pressure, the compressor automatically turns off. The compressor must be turned back on manually by the user.
