Alarms

Nuvair produces many products with alarm functions. Why? Because compressing gas is serious business! When gas mixtures, pressures, temperatures, fluid levels, or other critical conditions fall outside of acceptable ranges, an alarm condition is met and either an alarm sounds, becomes visible, or triggers an action in response to the abnormal event. On this category page are many of our primary products equipped with an alarm. Alarms can have a single setpoint, like a low-pressure alarm that activates when system pressure falls below an established point (i.e., less than 7 psi), or dual setpoints, as with an oxygen analyzer that goes into alarm when the gas mixture falls below—or rises above—two percentage points (i.e., less than 20.0% or more than 22.0%).
