The Coltri Icon 100 SH portable compressor is a standalone, four-stage high-pressure unit (4786 psi / 330 bar) designed for on-the-go filling of scuba, SCBA, and paintball cylinders or tanks. Powered by a 5.5-horsepower (4.1 kW) Honda GX200 engine, it's ideal for use at home, on boats, at paintball fields, or even at emergency scenes. Remote Air Intake required for breathing air applications.
The Coltri Icon 100 SH compressor is designed for filling scuba, SCBA, or paintball cylinders/tanks one at a time. The compressor was not engineered or manufactured for continuous duty filling of storage tanks or cascade storage systems of any kind. Incon compressors are lighter and have a smaller footprint than the MCH6 Compact compressor line. The size and weight of this compressor make it very easy to transport and operate. Fill an 80 cu ft scuba tank in ~22 minutes. Fill hose and air filtration system included.
Nuvair only sells gasoline-powered breathing air compressors with a 15-foot-long Remote Air Intake (RAI). The user is responsible for ensuring carbon monoxide does not enter the breathing air compressor. The compressor intake must be located away (upwind) from engine exhaust [OSHA 29 CFR 1910.430 (B)(2)], at least 6 feet above ground and 12 feet away from the exhaust. Always use a carbon monoxide (CO) analyzer on breathing air supply and a breathing air filter rated for use on gasoline-powered compressors.
