A visual indicator warns compressor operators of needed filter changes. At the core of this unit are visual indicator "elements." The elements detect the presence of carbon monoxide (CO) and moisture (H2O) in the compressor stream by changing colors. Elements must be replaced after three (3) months use or whenever any color change occurs. We recommend purchasing several elements as backup.

Visual indicators warn compressor operators of an impending need to change filter cartridge(s). A visual indicator allows the operator to see a moisture indicator card ("element") in the high-pressure line. The cards are seen through a high strength plastic window. The moisture card is divided into sections which progressively change color from blue to pink as moisture increases. Other color changing indicators include a carbon monoxide indicator. Replacement visual indicator element kits can be purchased separately (see SKU 592-6, below). Elements must be replaced after three (3) months use or whenever any color change occurs.
