Pro VOC Alarm Analyzer Handheld
The Nuvair Pro VOC Alarm is designed to detect the presence of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) in ambient or pressurized sources. It can be connected to a gas compressor for continuous output reading, or it can monitor ambient air (using diffusion mode) and will alert personnel in case of dangerous VOC concentrations in the air. Three power and two module options available.
The Nuvair Pro VOC Alarm is a digital measurement instrument with two visible and audible alarms that activate if VOC value is above or below set values. When the alarm sounds, the analog output can activate an optional relay that automatically shuts down compressors, sounds an alarm, or activates a back-up system. It uses a state-of-the-art Photo Ionization Detector (PID) sensor with long-term stability and easy maintenance. It is possible to replace the internal lamp and calibrate the sensor without factory assistance.
Our water- and impact-resistant case is designed for everyday use in the marine environment. To change the battery or sensor, simply remove four screws to access user-changeable components. All Nuvair Pro VOC units are built and tested in-house, and are ready to use upon receipt.
WARNING: Never expose gas sensors to pressure or you may cause damage and/or false readings. Damaged sensors will not provide accurate gas analysis. Most gas analyzers can be used to analyze a regulated gas sample flow, the contents of a gas cylinder, or the flow from a regulator. The flow rate of gas must equal 1-5 L/min. To produce this flow, a Flow Restrictor and Regulator may be required. A faulty Flow Restrictor can lead to a false analyzer reading. Flow Restrictors should be regularly tested with a Flow Meter. Inaccurate gas analysis can lead to serious personal injury or death.
Available Options
Three power options are available for this analyzer: 110/220V wall plug-in, DIN rail, and rechargeable lithium battery. For wall plug-in and DIN rail powered analyzers, two optional modules can be built into your analyzer: FAILSAFE and SMART START.
Adding the FAILSAFE Module to your Nuvair Pro Alarm analyzer will automatically disable integrated power equipment if: (a) Analyzer power is interrupted, or (b) Analyzer goes into alarm. Adding a SMART START Module to your Nuvair Pro Alarm Analyzer will automatically power-up the analyzer in tandem with integrated power equipment, like a compressor.
