The handheld Nuvair Pro CO Alarm analyzer series detects carbon monoxide (CO) levels in stored gas cylinders, enclosed spaces and compressors. With a range of 0-50 ppm, the Pro CO is equipped with two user-programmable alarms that sound if levels exceed alarm setpoints. Four power, two relay shutdown options, and two module options available.
Designed to detect the presence of carbon monoxide in stored gas cylinders, enclosed spaces and compressors, the handheld Nuvair Pro CO Alarm analyzer comes with two user-programmable alarms. If the analyzer reading drops below or rises above the alarm setpoints, a small relay sounds an alarm and can illuminate a small LED. This same relay can activate an optional larger relay to automatically shutdown compressors, sound an external alarm or activate emergency backup systems. Price varies according to power, module, and relay options. The lithium battery powers the Pro CO Alarm for about 40 hours between charges.
Three power options are available for this analyzer: 110/220V wall plug-in, DIN rail, and lithium battery. For wall plug-in and DIN rail powered analyzers, two optional modules can be built into your analyzer: FAILSAFE and SMART START.
Adding the FAILSAFE Module to your Nuvair Pro Alarm analyzer will automatically disable integrated power equipment if: (a) Analyzer power is interrupted, or (b) Analyzer goes into alarm. Adding a SMART START Module to your Nuvair Pro Alarm Analyzer will automatically power-up the analyzer in tandem with integrated power equipment, like a compressor.
Relay Options are available on battery-powered analyzers. Relay ampacity: 10A @ 230VAC/30VDC.
Choose one of four available power options, two relay options, and two available module upgrades by using the Power, Relay & Module Options dropdown menu (above).
WARNING: Never expose gas sensors to pressure or you may cause damage and/or false readings. Damaged sensors will not provide accurate gas analysis. Most gas analyzers can be used to analyze a regulated gas sample flow, the contents of a gas cylinder, or the flow from a regulator. The flow rate of gas must equal 1-5 L/min. To produce this flow, a Flow Restrictor and Regulator may be required. A faulty Flow Restrictor can lead to a false analyzer reading. Flow Restrictors should be regularly tested with a Flow Meter. Inaccurate gas analysis can lead to serious personal injury or death.
